How to delete your DailyBaby account
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This page explains how to delete your account and data in the DailyBaby app (developer: AppSphere). You can delete them in the app, or ask us by email if you can't use the app. Deleted accounts and data can't be restored.
1. Delete in the app
- Open DailyBaby and sign in.
- Tap the menu (☰) at the top left of Home, go to Settings and tap Delete account at the bottom. If you haven't added a baby yet, tap Delete account on the first screen (I'm pregnant / My baby is born).
- Check what will be deleted. If a baby is shared with other family members, choose whether to hand the baby over to one of them or delete it with its logs.
- Tap Delete account to confirm. Your account is deleted from our server right away and you return to the sign-in screen.
- If the deletion fails, your account and logs stay as they are and you can try again.
2. Ask by email
If you deleted the app or can't sign in, send the following to rlawnsrb3@nate.com
- Subject: Account deletion request
- How you sign in (Google or Apple) and your account email address
- If a baby is shared with family: who should take it over, or whether to delete it too
Please write from the email address you signed up with. If you used Apple's Hide My Email or can't use that address, we'll tell you how to confirm it's you. We delete your account within 10 days of confirming and let you know by email.
3. What is deleted right away
- Your account and profile: name, email address, profile photo URL and sign-in information
- Babies you added and all of their logs (baby, health and pregnancy logs, milestones, checklist), invite codes and family members — except babies you handed over
- Your membership in other families' babies and the invites you sent
- Push notification tokens and notification history, referral information
- When you delete in the app: logs saved on that device and scheduled reminders
4. What stays, and for how long
- A baby you handed over and its logs stay with the new admin, including the logs you added. Pregnancy logs you didn't share with that person (weight, symptoms) are deleted instead.
- Logs you added for another family's baby stay in that family's log so it isn't broken, under the parent who added the baby. They're no longer linked to you.
- Families of babies you handed over or deleted get a notification.
- Server backups are deleted automatically after their retention period (up to 30 days).
- Usage statistics (Google Analytics) stay under a random ID that can't identify you and are deleted after their retention period (up to 14 months).
- If the law requires us to keep something, we keep it separately only for that period.
5. Delete some data and keep your account
- A log: swipe it to the left to delete.
- A baby: the parent who added the baby can tap Delete baby info in Settings > Baby profile. All of that baby's logs are deleted too.
- Family sharing: the admin can remove members in Settings > Family sharing.
6. Disconnect Google or Apple sign-in
After deleting your account, you can also remove DailyBaby from Third-party apps & services in your Google Account, or in iPhone Settings > Apple Account > Sign in with Apple.
