Privacy Policy

AppSphere ("we") operates DailyBaby (the "App"). This policy explains what personal information we process, why, and the choices you have.

Effective date: November 1, 2026

1. Information we process

We only process what the service needs. Sign-in information is required; everything else is processed only when you use the related feature.

① Sign-in (required)

  • Sign in with Google: Google account ID, email address, name, profile photo URL
  • Sign in with Apple: Apple account ID, email address (a relay address if you chose Hide My Email), name (if Apple provides it on first sign-in)

② Baby and pregnancy information (you enter it)

  • Baby: name or nickname, date of birth, sex, time of birth, birth length, weight and head circumference
  • Pregnancy: due date, first day of last period, pre-pregnancy weight and BMI

③ Records (you enter them)

  • Feeding, diapers, sleep, activities, baths, snacks, tummy time, notes
  • Growth, temperature, health (symptoms, clinic visits), medication, milestones
  • Prenatal checkups (clinic, blood pressure, fetal heart rate, results), pregnancy weight, kicks, symptoms, contractions, pregnancy diary, birth supplies checklist

④ Family sharing (when used)

  • Invite code, inviter's name, baby's name, family members and their permissions, what pregnancy records are shared

⑤ Referrals (when used)

  • Referral code, the email address and status of people who joined with your code, ad-free period

⑥ Notifications

  • Push notification token, device type (iOS/Android), screen language, notification logs (title, text, result)

⑦ Information created automatically while you use the App

  • Access logs (sign-in time, IP address), device model, operating system and app version
  • App instance ID and advertising identifiers (Android advertising ID, app set ID)
  • Usage data: app opens and screen views, sign-in method, how a baby was added (pregnancy/birth), the types of records created, ad impressions and clicks, app and ad performance and errors
  • iPhone advertising identifier (IDFA): only if you allow "Allow Apps to Request to Track" (see section 8)
  • Ad consent records

We do not collect government ID numbers, device location (GPS), contacts, or photo, camera or microphone data.

2. Why we process it

  • To identify you, keep you signed in and prevent abuse
  • To save and sync your records across devices and provide statistics, reports and growth charts
  • To invite and connect family members, manage permissions and share records
  • To give referral rewards and detect abuse
  • To show ads and measure their performance (including personalized ads based on your choices) and to offer rewarded ads
  • To analyze usage, improve the service and fix errors
  • To answer questions and send notices

3. How long we keep it

  • We keep your information until you delete your account and then delete it without delay (see section 6).
  • Records you delete are kept with a "deleted" mark for up to 7 days so the deletion reaches your family's devices, then removed permanently.
  • Server backups are deleted automatically after the backup period (up to 30 days).
  • Usage statistics are deleted after the Google Analytics retention period (up to 14 months). Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may remain.
  • Advertising data is deleted according to Google's retention policies.
  • Information that a law requires us to keep is kept separately only for the required period.

4. Health information

  • Health information about your baby and you (temperature, symptoms, medication, growth, prenatal checkups, pregnancy weight, symptoms, kicks, contractions and similar records) is processed only when you enter it. You can use other features without it and can edit or delete it at any time.
  • We use it only to show your records and share them with the family members you choose. The content of health records is never sent to advertising or analytics services; analytics only receive the type of record created (for example, "feeding" or "pregnancy weight").
  • For pregnancy records, the caregiver who added the baby can choose per family member whether checkups, weight, kicks and symptoms are shared. By default checkups and kicks are shared and weight and symptoms are not; records that are not shared are never sent to that family member by our server.

5. Who can see your information, and service providers

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except where required by law.
  • What you share is visible to: family members you invite (the baby's information and records, subject to pregnancy sharing settings, and each other's names and emails in the member list); and the person who referred you (your display name, join date and reward status).

We use the following service providers. They process information outside your country, over encrypted connections:

  • Supabase Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) — sign-in, database and servers (hosted on Amazon Web Services)
  • Google LLC (USA) — analytics (Firebase Analytics), ads and ad consent (Google AdMob), Android push delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging), Sign in with Google
  • 650 Industries, Inc. (Expo, USA) — push notification relay, app updates
  • Apple Inc. (USA) — Sign in with Apple, iPhone push delivery
  • Anthropic, PBC (USA) — only if you turn on AI daily summary: creates the summary sentence from totals (feeding count and amount, sleep time, diaper count), age in days and date. Your baby's name, sex, notes, photos and account information are not sent.

These providers keep data according to their own policies or until our contract ends. Turning off AI daily summary stops sending data to Anthropic immediately.

6. Deleting your account

  • In the App: menu (☰) > Settings > "Delete account" at the bottom. Before you add a baby, use "Delete account" on the first screen. If you cannot use the App, email support@dailybaby.app (see dailybaby.apporbit.xyz/account-deletion).
  • Deleted immediately: your account and profile, the babies you added with all their records, invites and family members, your memberships in other families and invites you sent, push tokens and referral information.
  • If a baby is shared with family members, you choose before deleting whether to hand the baby over to another family member or delete it with its records. Pregnancy records that were not shared with the new admin are deleted.
  • Records you created for another family's baby stay with that family so their history is not broken.
  • Deletion is complete only when our server finishes it; if it fails, nothing is deleted and you can try again.
  • Signing out or deleting your account also removes records and scheduled notifications stored on the device.

7. Your rights

  • You can access, correct or delete your information, ask us to stop processing it, or withdraw consent at any time. Most of this can be done directly in the App.
  • For other requests, email support@dailybaby.app. We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by applicable law (and in any case within 30 days).
  • Depending on where you live (for example, California and other US states, Japan, Australia, Canada or Singapore), you may have additional rights under local law. We honor those rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising except through the personalized-ad choices described in section 8, which you can turn off.
  • The App is for parents and caregivers. It is not directed to children, and you must be an adult (18 or older, or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. Information about your baby is entered and managed by you as the parent or guardian.

8. Advertising identifiers and personalized ads

  • The App does not use web cookies. Ads and analytics use your device's advertising identifier and an app instance ID.
  • Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Google's SDK collects the advertising identifier, ad impressions and clicks, device information and IP address (approximate location) to show and measure ads and, based on your choices, to personalize them.
  • iPhone: the App may ask "Allow Apps to Request to Track." If you do not allow it, the IDFA is not collected. You can change this in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • Android: you can delete or reset your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in Settings > Google (or Privacy) > Ads.
  • If you opt out, you only see non-personalized ads. All features work the same either way.
  • Ad requests never include your baby's information or records (including health and pregnancy records).

9. AI daily summary (optional)

  • AI daily summary works only if you turn it on in Settings > AI daily summary after reviewing what is sent. Nothing is sent before that.
  • What is sent: totals for today and the last 7 days (feeding count and amount, sleep time, diaper count), age in days and date — to Anthropic (section 5).
  • Summaries are stored only on your device for 7 days. Turning the feature off stops sending immediately and deletes stored summaries and the 10 PM reminder.
  • The summary is a reference sentence made from your record totals and is not medical advice.

10. Security

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest on our servers
  • Access control on the server so that records are visible only to you and the family members you invite
  • Admin tools restricted to the operator
  • Sign in with Google or Apple, so we never receive a password

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the data protection authority where you live (for example, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore, the Privacy Commissioner of New Zealand, Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission, or your US state attorney general).

12. Changes to this policy

  • This policy applies from November 1, 2026.
  • If we change it, we will announce it in the App and on our website at least 7 days before it takes effect (30 days for changes that significantly affect your rights).
